Josh Elling has an extensive background in community and economic development. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Michigan and a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from Wayne State University. Prior to joining JEI, Josh held various leadership positions, including Senior Vice President of the Detroit Economic Growth Corporation and Director of Development for the City of Detroit Planning and Development Department.
