Leading by Example: How a Business Owner and Role Model is Making a Difference in the Lives of Youth
Kareim R. Cade is a business owner, keynote speaker, and industry disruptor, but most importantly, he is a volunteer and founder of Great Lakes Benefit Group. Cade is passionate about giving back to the community, particularly the youth, and serving as a role model for the youth of color. Cade’s work at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Detroit has been nothing short of amazing. Big Brothers Big Sisters’ mission is to create and support one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth, and Cade has been instrumental in helping the organization achieve this goal.
Youth empowerment is vital to the development of society, and it is why Cade is passionate about it. He understands that when youth feel connected, they develop a sense of belonging, which is critical for success. Cade’s work at Big Brothers Big Sisters has had a significant impact on the youth in the Metropolitan Detroit area. Through mentoring, the organization has been able to build bridges between people who may never have come into contact with each other.
