Rich Homberg is a well-known media personality who has spent his entire career in broadcasting. He is the President and CEO of Detroit Public Television (DPTV), a position he has held since 2008. DPTV is a non-profit public television station that serves the southeastern Michigan region. Homberg’s connection to DPTV runs deep, and he has been instrumental in the success of the station.

Homberg’s career in broadcasting began in 1977 when he started working for WXYZ-TV in Detroit. He worked his way up the ranks, eventually becoming the Vice President and General Manager of the station. In 2008, Homberg left WXYZ-TV to become the President and CEO of DPTV.
